Description
Food for special medical purposes in powder, which thanks to its iron content and its proteins, is indicated for the dietary management of infants and children from 0 to 36 months, with diarrhea.
It can be used as the only source of power up to the six months of life of the child and after the sixth month, on advice of the doctor, as part of the diversified feeding of the child.
It should only be used for temporary periods, on medical advice, and only in infants and children from 0 to 36 months, with diarrhea.
Ingredients
Banana puree, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (palm, soy, coconut) apple puree, protein milk, partially hydrolyzed rice flour, fructose, dextrose, sodium citrate, calcium carbonate, oil fish (DHA)(milk), lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, calcium chloride, choline hydrochloride, emulsifier (lecithin of soy), magnesium sulphate, potassium chloride, L-cystine, orthophosphoric acid sodium salts; vitamins: vitamin C (sodium ascorbate, L-ascorbic acid), pantothenic acid (D-pantotenate, calcium), vitamin E (DL-alpha tocoferile acetate), niacin (nicotinamide), riboflavin, thiaminate (thioamine hydrochloride), vitamin A ( retinile acetate), vitamin B6 (pyloridemilk), taurine, sodium chloride, inositol, L-carnitine, zinc sulphate, ferric pyrophosphate; antioxidant: rich extract in tocopherol; sodium selenitis, copper sulphate, potassium iodine.
Without lactose.
Mode of use
Before preparing the bottle, always wash your hands.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all the materials that are used.
2. Bring the water to the boil for 5 minutes and let it cool until it reaches a temperature of 40 °C, or heat oligomineral water (from the freshly opened bottle) up to 40 °C.
3. Pour the amount of water in the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the scoop included in the package. Lay each scoop with a dry and clean knife without pressing the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake up to complete dissolution of the powder avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat on the bottle.
6. Cool until you get a temperature of 37 °C. Check the bottle temperature by putting a drop of the product on the wrist. Use immediately.
Suggested average feeding program
1 satin and unpressed scoop (4,3 g) for every 30 ml of water. Use only the provided scoop.
The number of meals must be programmed according to the doctor's advice.
Warnings
- Do not use it beyond the expiry date.
- Close the jar after every use.
- Remove the metal sheet completely at the opening.
- Don't prepare the bottle in advance, but just before the meal.
Each meal must be consumed within an hour of preparation.
- The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after the stern. Throw away the amount left.
- The product is not suitable for feeding via napkin.
- The product is not suitable for parental treatment.
Novalac AD could take a different consistency than a standard formula. Once reconstituted, after some moments, two layers may appear in the bottle. It is enough to stir again to obtain a homogeneous liquid.
- Don't use the bottle as a pacifier.
- Don't add sugar.
Maternal milk is the best food for infants. If mother's milk cannot be used or sufficient, milk for infants may be used only after the doctor's advice.
The inadequate preparation and preservation of any milk for infants could cause health hazards. The product may lead to health risks if consumed by children who are not affected by the disease.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and contamination.
Post-opening validation: three weeks.
