Description
Food for special medical purposes in powder, with a formula specially trained to meet the nutritional needs of children from 0 to 36 months in case of gastroesophageal reflux. Novalac Reflux PRO contains an exclusive blend of thickeners that combines the quality of starch and dietary fibers and that allows to minimize rigurgiti. The source of Novalac Reflux PRO protein is from cow's milk protein. In case of allergies, premature birth, low birth weight or immunodeficiency, ask your doctor for advice. IMPORTANT: Novalac Reflux PRO can be the only source of baby food until the age of 6 months if breastfeeding is not possible. Later, and on advice of the doctor Novalac Reflux PRO will integrate into the diversified feeding of the child. Novalac Reflux PRO must be used under medical control and only in infants who present symptoms for which the product is indicated. The formula should not be modified without consulting the doctor.
Maternal milk is the best food for infants. If mother's milk is not sufficient, milk for infants may only be used after medical advice. The inadequate preparation and preservation of any milk for infants could cause health hazards.
Ingredients
Milk scrambled; maltodextrin; vegetable oils (palm, soy, coconut); lactose (milk); thickeners (pectin, carob seed flour); tapioca starch; oil fish (DHA) (support milk); emulsifier (lecithin of soy); choline bitartrate; calcium chloride; calcium salts of citric acid; vitamins: vitamin C (sodium ascorbate, L-ascorbic acid), vitamin E (DL-alpha tocoferile acetate), pantothenic acid (D-pantotenate, calcium), niacin (nicotinamide), thiaminate (tyamine chloride), riboflavin, vitamin A ( retinal acetate), vitamin B6 (piridoxin chloride); L-cistina; inositolo; L-triptophan; potassium chloride; oil extracted from Mortierella alpina (ARA) (support milk); calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid (tricalcium phosphate); taurine; sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid; ferrous sulphate; sodium chloride; L-carnitine; magnesium oxide; zinc sulphate; antioxidant: rich extract in tocopherols; of sodium; copper sulphate; potassium iodide; manganese sulphate.

Mode of use
Before preparing the bottle always wash your hands.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all the materials that are used.
2. Bring the boiling water for 5 minutes and let it cool until it reaches a temperature of 40°C, or heat oligomineral water (from freshly opened bottle) up to 40°C.
3. Pour the amount of water in the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the scoop included in the package. Lay each scoop with a dry and clean knife without pressing the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake up to complete dissolution of the powder avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat on the bottle.
6. Cool until you get a temperature of 37°C. Check the bottle temperature by putting a drop of the product on the wrist. Use immediately.

Reconstitution (13%): 1 satin and unpressed scoop (4,3 g) for every 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided with the product.
The number of meals should be adapted to the appetite of the infant on the doctor's advice.
Warnings
Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the meal.
Each meal must be consumed within an hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after the stern. Throw away the amount left.
Given its particular composition, in preparation, it may be necessary to shake more the bottle than the preparation of a classic formula, to obtain the complete dissolution of Novalac Reflux PRO.
The appearance of Novalac Reflux PRO in the bottle can be different from that of a classic formula and it could be necessary to use a specific teat.
The Novalac Reflux PRO thickened formula could of course present small dark particles of vegetable origin (carob seed flour) and/or some white agglomerations of food fibers. This does not cause discomfort in the child.
Don't use the bottle as a pacifier.
Don't add sugar.
The product is not suitable for parental or enteral feeding.
Conservation
Do not use beyond the date indicated below the can.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
After opening use the product within 3 weeks.
Close the jar after each use with plastic cover.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and contamination.
Packed in protective atmosphere. The jar, lid and scoop of Novalac Reflux PRO can be recycled. Dispose them properly.
