Methylsulphonylmethane* (MSM) is an organic sulphur compound. In the cooking and preparation of food, sulfur is easily degraded.
The sulphur is present in the keratines, fundamental proteins for the constitution of nails and hair. It is also physiologically present at the articular level, being part of the sulphate chondroitin, precious constituent molecule of cartilage. The MSM also intervenes in the maintenance of reduced glutathione levels (GSH), a substance naturally produced by our body for antioxidant and detoxifying purposes, in fact it also favors the elimination from the body of heavy metals.
