Therapeutic indications

Sintotrat 0.5% cream is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of itching, eczema, insect bites, erythys or circumscribed burns.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity ascertained towards the product. As with any other topical cortisonic preparation, the use of Sintotrat 0.5% cream is contraindicated in the case of viral, bacterial and fungal diseases.

Population

Do not exceed the recommended doses If symptomatology is not resolved within a few days, you must stop treatment and consult your doctor.

Warnings

Sintotrat 0.5% cream is indicated only for external use. Cream does not find ophthalmological use, but should be applied in periocular areas. Avoid prolonged applications especially on large surfaces. Not to be used in the treatment of itching vulvare if associated with vaginal losses. Visual disturbances With the use of systemic and topical corticosteroids, visual disturbances can be reported. If a patient occurs with symptoms such as blurred vision or other visual disorders, it is necessary to consider referral to an ophthalmologist for the evaluation of possible causes that may include cataracts, glaucoma or rare diseases such as central serum corioretinopathy (CSCR), which were reported after the use of systemic and topic corticosteroids. In children under two years the product should be administered in cases of actual need under the direct control of the doctor. Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Do not use the drug over the expiry date indicated on the package.

Interactions

Negative interactions and incompatibility of use with other common drugs used in relevant therapy have never been seen.

Effects

The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to local phenomena of irritation or awareness; in such case it is necessary to stop treatment and consult the doctor in order to establish suitable therapy.
