OTOCLEAN
Description
Headset. Solution for otological use.
For dogs and cats. For veterinary use.
OTOCLEAN contains keratolytic, ceruminolytic, emollient, hygienic and moisturizing ingredients that give the product excellent quality for hygiene and care of the dog and cat's outer ear canal, keeping it clean and free of accumulations of dirt, cerums or secretions.
Components
Salicylic acid, extract of Cucumis sativus, extract of Icelandic Cetraria, extract of Mimosa tenuiflora, lactic acid 90%, transcutol (dietilenglycol monoethylther), propylene glycol, macrogol 400, glycerol, oleic acid, water q.b.a. 1 ml.
Mode of use
- Open the bottle by turning the plastic cap.
- Lift the ear from the upper margin and direct the contents of the bottle to the inside of the ear canal by pressing the bottle strongly to instill half or all of the content, according to the need.
- Massage at the base of the ear for a few seconds to facilitate the contact of the cleaning solution with the ear.
Apply OTOCLEAN in each ear canal of the dog or cat in sufficient quantities according to the size of the animal.
- In large size animals apply a bottle (5 ml) in each ear.
- In small or medium sized animals, it is possible to divide the contents of a bottle between the two ears.
Let OTOCLEAN act without applying other substances in the ear for at least 30 minutes.
Indications for use: In the breeds prepared for otititis due to the anatomy of the auricular pavilion (cocker, setter, barb, etc.), it is convenient to apply OTOCLEAN periodically.
We recommend a weekly routine application, to maintain the external ear canal under optimal conditions.
- In animals with large accumulations of dirt or cerumes, an unpleasant smell from the ears is usually felt. In these cases, apply OTOCLEAN in each ear canal every 24 hours, for 8 consecutive days and then thin the applications (every 2-3 days) according to the observed response, no to obtain the complete hygiene of the ear canals.
- In animals with otitis, to improve the efficiency of antibacterial or therapeutic products to be applied, it is advisable to clean the ear canal by eliminating the accumulation of dirt, cerums or secretions Similarly, 30 minutes before applying a therapeutic earpiece solution, you should clean both ears with OTOCLEAN.
