Description
It is a food intended for special medical purposes based on an appropriately balanced mixture of carbohydrates, mineral salts, fibers (FOS and XOS) and zinc, indicated for the dietary treatment of subjects affected by alterations of the hydrosaline balance due to acute diarrhea, vomiting or other situations that can determine increased losses of such elements.
Ingredients
Destrose, maltodextrin, sodium chloride, potassium citrate, sodium citrate; prebiotic fibres: fruit-oligosaccharides, xilo-oligosaccharides; aroma; eulcorant: acesulphame K; zinc citrate.
Without gluten.
Nutritional characteristics
Osmolarity: 200 mOsm/l.
Mode of use
Dilute a sachet in 100 ml of water, preferably cold.
Children: it is recommended to take 100 ml of solution for each kg of body weight within 4/6 hours per libitum or after medical advice. At the end of this period of rapid rehydration take Prereid according to the needs or according to the indications of the doctor.
Adults: it is recommended to take 1-2 liters of solution per day.
Warnings
The product must be used after indication and under control of the doctor.
It should not be understood as the only source of nutrition and should not be administered by parental means.
In case of vomiting take small doses repeated over time.
Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product in a package.
