Description
Medical device with mechanical action with specific protection and adjuvant properties of the natural rectal mucosa repair process.
Proctilor rectal cream adheres to the rectal mucosa creating a protective layer and isolating the damaged, erythematous or ulcerated areas. Proctilor rectal cream decreases algical symptomology with a rapid reduction of burning and pain and promotes the natural process of repairing the anal channel epithelium lesions and rectal mucosa improving the resistance of the mucosa to the attacks of irritant agents.
It is indicated in the atypical proctitis by radiotherapeutic treatment of the pelvic district and in the proctiti in course of chemotherapy or combined treatments (radio and chemotherapy). It is indicated in all diseases that involve ano-rectal mucosa lesions such as:
- acute and chronic anal spiders;
- fistulas;
- anal and peri-anali ascesses;
- isolated ulcers of the rectum;
- proctiti of various kinds;
- hemorrhoidaria varicose syndrome (external and internal hemorrhoids);
- post-colonscopy treatment.
Nichel tested.
Mode of use
Prevention: Apply 2 times a day.
Treatment: Apply 3 times a day, for no more than 3 weeks consecutively or until the disappearance of symptomatology. Consult your doctor for longer use if you do not notice an improvement in the clinical state.
Immediately before the use of the product, with feci free alvo, clean the anus and the surrounding area with specific detergents or neutral pH. Wash your hands before handling the cannula. Open the product tube to be applied. Screw the cannula on the open pipe. Remove the cap from the end of the endorectal cannula. Squeeze the pipe until filling the cannula by bringing out a small amount of product in order to lubricate the cannula itself. Lubricate with a small amount of gel the perianal zones, previously detergents. Gently insert the cannula into the rectum. Press the tube again until the correct amount of product is delivered. Remove the cannula from the anal cavity. Spread around the perianal area any excess of gel out of the anus.
Components
Zinc-L-carnosine, aqua, paraffinum liquidum, glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 stearate, cetearyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, glycerin, C12-20 acid PEG-8 Ester, tocopheryl acetate, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, microcrystalline cellulose gum, phenyl.
It doesn't contain cortisone.
Cleaning cannula
After each application, the cannula must be thoroughly cleaned according to the following procedure:
1) After use, clean the outside of the cannula with a clean paper napkin.
2) Clean the cannula inside with a clean cotonate stick.
3) Clean the outside again with a clean paper napkin.
4) Rinse in and out the cannula with hot water (40°C) for about 1 minute.
5) Dry the cannula outside with a clean paper napkin.
6) Reject the protective cap.
7) Store the cannula in the box.
After the procedure perform a visual control of the cannula and, in case there are any residues, repeat the procedure from point 4. Repeat the cleaning procedure before use from point 4 if the cannula is not used daily, taking care to remove the protective cap.
Warnings
It is recommended not to use in case of hypersensitivity known to one of the components. Since no complete data is available, it is recommended to consult your doctor for use during pregnancy and children under 14 years of age.
In case of rectal bleeding, consult your doctor before using any treatment. Consult your doctor if irritations, pain or discomfort arise as a result of the application. Consult the doctor if the use of the product did not lead to an improvement of symptomatology. The device is not designed for pediatric use, keeping out of reach and view of children. The interaction with other medicines or medical devices has not been evaluated, ask for medical advice before use concomitant to other pharmaceutical products. Device for internal use. Don't swallow. Do not use it beyond the expiry date. Do not use in case of damaged packaging. Run the application in hygienic conditions. Close perfectly after use.
Once the product is finished, the pipe and the cannula can be disposed of according to the rules of waste disposal defined in the local context.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, at room temperature, away from direct light and from heat sources.
