Description
DHA dietary supplement, beta-carotene, folic acid (5-MTHF), vitamins and minerals, useful to supplement the diet of the pregnant woman and during breastfeeding.
Contains:
- the DHA, which contributes to the maintenance of normal brain and visual functions. Intake of DHA by the mother contributes to the physiological development of the brain and the eyes in the fetus and breast-feeding infants;
- vitamin B2 promotes the normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of normal visual capacity and contributes to the physiological metabolism of iron;
- beta-carotene, is a precursor of vitamin A, which contributes to the maintenance of normal visual capacity and intervenes in the process of specialization of cells;
- Folic acid (5-MTHF) contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy and to normal hemopoiesi.
Supplementary intake of folic acid increases the state of the maternal folate. A low state of the maternal folate is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus;
- vitamins B6 and B12 and iron help physiological formation of red blood cells and reduction of fatigue and fatigue;
- vitamin D and zinc intervene in the process of cell division;
- iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones, physiological thyroid function and normal energy metabolism.
