Description
Syntomatic treatment of stipsis. Powder for oral solution. It works within 24-72 hours. Macrogol is a high molecular weight hydrosoluble polymer that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake by holding it in the stools. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates evacuation. It accelerates intestinal transit by favoring peristalsis, counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecaloms. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastro-intestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electric imbalances, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.
Mode of use
Use the measurin contained in the package to dose the powder: fill it satin and unpressed, then remove the amount of excess product with the blade of a knife.
-Adults and children over the age of 12:
From 2 to 10 scoops per day. The dose must be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, so as to allow a regular evacuation of soft feces. The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 10 scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml for each measuring device) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning in case you should take the minimum dose (2 scoops per day). For higher doses, divide intake between morning and evening. If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
-Children aged between 6 months and 12 years:
From 6 to 10 kg: 1 razor scoop per day;
From 10 to 15 kg: 1-2 scoops per day;
From 16 to 20 kg: 2-3 scoops per day;
From 21 to 43 kg: 3-4 scoops per day.

Warnings
Keep furious from children's reach. It is recommended to use the product in pediatric age after consulting your doctor. The administration in children must be carried out under direct control of an adult. Consult your doctor before using pregnant and nursing. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not use if the package is open or damaged. The product can reduce the time of stay in the intestine and therefore the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore recommended to consult the doctor in the event of a simultaneous intake of oral medicines, which must, in any case, be administered at a distance of at least 2 hours. If undesirable reactions suspend treatment and consult your doctor. Do not hire in case of:
-Hypersensitivity known to one or more components;
-The paralytical one;
-Perforation, obstruction or intestinal stenosis;
-Gravi inflammatory diseases of the intestine (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn disease, toxic megacolon). The use of laxatives is contraindicated in case there are acute or unknown abdominal pains, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown origin and in case of severe dehydration.
Some gastrointestinal disorders (belly disease, flatulence, abdominal swelling, nausea and fecal incontinence). Diarrhea is a secondary effect on the intake of excessive doses of the product, and it is avoidable by decreasing the intake dose. Rare cases of hypersensitivity reactions (rash cutaneous) were reported as a result of the use of products containing macrogol. In case, suspend treatment and consult your doctor.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and away from heat sources. Carefully close the container after use. The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product.
