Description
Castor oil [Ricinus communis L. (Fam. Euphorbiaceae)] arborescent and perennial in the tropical places of origin, in our climates the castor becomes an annual plant up to 2 meters, whose seeds, at groups of three, are enclosed in trilocular capsules that open spontaneously when ripe. From them is extracted a viscous oil, light yellow, of typical smell, widely used for outdoor use.
