Description
Lubricating and antioxidant ophthalmic solution without preservatives based on coenzyme Q10, vitamin E TPGS and hyaluronic acid cross-linked sodium salt.
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is a more stable and effective form of hyaluronic acid than the unstabilised form that gives VisuXL the best viscoelastic, mucomimetic and moisturizing properties and greater effectiveness over time.
The combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and antioxidant/anti-radical substances allows for more effective treatment in cases of:
- eye dryness;
- alterations of the continuity of the corneal and conjunctive surface after refractive surgery, trauma from foreign body and surgical interventions;
- alterations of the eye area related to metabolic pathologies (diabetes);
- environmental stress (smog, chlorinated water, altered microclimates, smoke, air conditioning);
- intense and prolonged exposure to UV and ionizing radiation;
- prolonged use of computers, video screens, television.
Mode of use
Instill 1-2 drops in the joint sack of each eye 2 times a day or according to different opinion of your ophthalmologist.
After opening the aluminum protection bag:
- separate a single-dose container from the strip consisting of 5 disposable containers;
- turn and open the cap on itself for the opening of the monodose;
- instill 1-2 drops of preparation in the joint sack, slightly pulling the lower eyelid down and looking upward;
- after use, throw the container even if partially used.
Components
Coenzyme Q10 100 mg, vitamin E TPGS (D-alfa-tocoferil polyethyleneglycol 1000 succinate) 500 mg, hyaluronic acid salt sodium cross-linked 100 mg, isotonic solution buffered as much as 100 ml.
Warnings
Do not use the product if allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components; in case of occurrence of adverse reactions suspend use, addressing your ophthalmologist; the product can also be instilled during the use of contact lenses: does not alter its characteristics, it may possibly contribute to the hydration of soft contact lenses; instill the product at least 5 minutes after using other drugs; the product maintains its sterility until and beyond the opening of each monodose; the product must be used immediately after opening each monodose; use only once and throw monodose with residual content; the indicated expiry date refers to the product in intact and properly preserved packaging; do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package; wash your hands before applying the product; do not touch the eyes with the delivery end of the monodose container; do not use the product if the aluminum protection envelope or single-dose containers are damaged at the first opening; keep the product away from light sources, heat and reach of children.
Conservation
Store between 15°C and 25°C.
