SOFARGEN
Repair
Description
Medical device Class IIA (Directive 93/42/EEC). Not sterile.
Skin gel for topical use. Gel-based medicine with Hyaluronic Acid and Sulfadiazine Silver.
Indicated for the local treatment of skin lesions such as abrasions, escoriations, cuts, wounds, burns, lesions, skin irritations and dermatological affections in general. It can be used to promote the healing process of the wound, protecting it from the risk of infections. The presence of the gel also favors the removal of non-vital fragments and accumulations of fibrine and escara.
The Hyaluronic Acid, thanks to its peculiar hygroscopic power, in the presence of skin damage contributes to maintaining the microenvironment favorable to the restoration of biological properties of the skin, such as elasticity and hydration.
Latex-free.
Mode of use
After a proper detersion of the lesion, apply a uniform layer on the affected surfaces SOFARGEN Repair of 2 or 3 mm thick. The gel can be applied either directly on the lesions, or previously laid on a sterile gauze to obtain the moisturizing effect or on a polyurethane or semiocclusive dressing as a detergent. In this case it can be left in situ from 24 hours to 72 hours. SOFARGEN Repair is also a valid substitute for the most commonly used hydrogels.
The application of the gel must continue without interruption one or two times a day, until there is possibility of infection and until complete scarring, both in spontaneous and surgical repairs. To each application renewal carefully cleanse the lesions with water or physiological solution.
Components
Depurated water, Glicerol, Carbopol 974P, Sodium Idroxide, Silver Sulfadiazine Micronized and Sodium Hyaluronate.
Warnings
Patients with individual hypersensitivity ascertained to components should not use SOFARGEN Repair. It is recommended not to use the product for more than 4 weeks. Consult your doctor in case of incomplete healing or in case you have unwanted symptoms. In case of accidental ingestion consult your doctor.
The gel can tend to become brown, if left exposed to light, due to the silver ion present in the formulation. However, this phenomenon does not compromise its effectiveness and safety. Do not apply the product along with liquid or solid disinfectants. Close the tube after each application. In pregnant women and early childhood, use the product after medical advice. SOFARGEN Repair should be used only to treat small injuries. The product is not for ophthalmic use. Don't swallow. Keep away from the reach and sight of children. Do not use the product beyond the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Transitional sensations of burning or irritation may occur, however without consequences and rare local reactions of an allergic nature. If you have any side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Store at a temperature below 30° C.
Validity of packaging: 36 months.
Valid after the first opening: 12 months.
