ZYMEREX REGULATION
Description
ZYMEREX REGOLA is a medical device useful for treating acute or chronic constipation and to counter excessive gastrointestinal gas production even in case of irritable bowel syndrome. The product acts by softening the feces and promoting regularization of function and intestinal motility through a combination of osmotic effects.
Macrogol 3350, thanks to its affinity with water, helps to absorb the water present in the lumen increasing the fecal volume, making the feces more soft and easier to expel without causing cramps, abdominal pain or emergency conditions. The water-soluble fiber contained in the Psyllium creates a gel that hydrates the fecal mass. Thanks to this capacity, Psyllium promotes regularization of the intestinal function, stimulating peristalsis, reducing intestinal transit time by helping evacuation. The presence of Simeticone in the formulation, thanks to its anti-foaming action, is effective in the absorption of gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.
Mode of use
Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 bag per day.
Adults and children over the age of 12: 2 envelopes a day.
Before using the product in children, it is advisable to feel the medical advice. Dissolve every bag well in a glass full of water and drink immediately.
Since the Psyllium has the ability to create a gel, the product must be taken between meals with an adequate amount of water (at least a glass full of water, two glasses, if possible), to avoid swelling in the throat causing stroking.
It is suggested to drink at least 2 liters of water per day for adults, and at least 1 - 1.5 liters per day for children and adolescents.
If conditions persist again after taking the product, consult your doctor.
Components
Each envelope contains: macrogol 3350, psyllium and symeticons.
Excipients: citric acid, sucralose, acesulfame k, aromas (orange and paper), silicon dioxide, bicarbonate sodium, sunflower lecithin.
Without gluten, of course without lactose.
Warnings
CONTRACTS
Do not use ZYMEREX® REGOLA in case of:
- intestinal obstruction or stenosis;
- intestinal perforation;
- inflammatory bowel syndromes (e.g. Crohn's disease or ulcerative Colite).
There are no experiences on taking during pregnancy and nursing, so it is recommended to take ZYMEREX Only on medical advice.
In patients with renal impairment, it is not necessary to regulate the dosage.
Use the product until symptoms are resolved.
Repeated use may be necessary in case of refractory or chronic constipation. This type of constipation can be caused by painkillers (opioids) and medicines for treating Parkinson's disease (anti-linergic) or may appear in the case of diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson. In these cases, do not hire ZYMEREX REGULATION for more than 30 consecutive days, if symptoms persist to consult your doctor.
COLLATERAL EFFECTS: in the necessary doses to obtain a therapeutic effect, the occurrence of side effects has rarely been reported. Sometimes transient gastro-intestinal disorders may appear, such as diarrhea (especially at the beginning), abdominal pain, borborigmas and nausea. Rarely, the product components have caused hypersensitivity reactions (Rush and hives). However, if intolerance or other side effects occur, stop treatment immediately. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
INTERACTIONS WITH ALIMENTAL AND FARMATIC INTEGRATIONS: when ingested in conjunction with other drugs, ZYMEREX REGOLA could change their bioavailability. In particular, the osmotic power of the PEG and the higher rate of gastrointestinal transit can adversely affect their effectiveness. Psyllium can enhance the effect of antidiabetic drugs by causing excessive hypoglycemic effect. As a general rule, it is appropriate to take medications or dietary supplements at least 2 hours after or before using the product. However, consult a doctor before taking the product in case of other therapies with life-saving drugs (such as insulin).
Do not use the product under 6 years. Before using the product in children, you should consult your doctor. Keep away from the reach of children. Do not hire the product after the printed expiration date on the box. In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, take the medical device only if necessary and after consulting a doctor. Do not take the product for more than 30 consecutive days, if symptoms persist to consult your doctor. Do not hire in case of product intolerance. Do not assume in case of hypersensitivity known to components and polyethyleneglycol. Each bag is disposable and must be opened only when used. Simeticone can interfere with the effect of some reagents used in diagnostics, such as gum of sheath.
Conservation
Store ZYMEREX QUEEN in a dry place and away from heat or direct light sources: open the sachet only at the time of use.
Do not use in case of damaged envelope.
Keep out of reach of children. Keep the device at a temperature below 25°C.
Do not use the product after the printed expiration date on the packaging. The expiration date refers to the product in a package that is integrated and correctly preserved.
Validity of whole packaging: 30 months.
The expired or otherwise eliminated device must be managed as a waste management regulation of the Local Manager Body. Do not dispose of the product or packaging in the environment.
