Descrizione Clinica
Hygiene and Tris nac 120ml
Tris-NAC
Description
Sterile solution.
Tris-EDTA + N-Acetil Cisteina (NAC) with high hygienic force for dogs and cats.
Tris-EDTA (Etilen Diammin Tetracetic Acid) has bacterial activity on non-growing bacteria located within the biofilm (Ciofu et al, 2017); in association with Trometamine (Tris) damages the walls of bacterial cells and increases penetration within bacterial membranes; is well tolerated and not ototoxic; acts in synergy with chlorhexidine (Guardabassi et al, 2010). Recently, a work in vitro has shown that Tris- EDTA is a more than effective support in the treatment of chronic cases of otites from Pseudomonas with the presence of potential biofilms combined with antibiotics (Pye et al, 2014).
NAC is a N-acetylate derivative of cysteine amino acid, has mucolitic action, therefore destroys the production of exopolysaccharides thus weakening the matrix EPS. It has recently been used in eight clinical studies as an adjuvant treatment to destroy mature biofilm and prevent its formation and has demonstrated an excellent profile of safety and effectiveness.
The association of Tris-EDTA and NAC on the skin and ear before the application of topical products such as chlorhexidine, antibiotics, antimicrobial synthesis peptides, thus allows an increase in permeability of mature biofilm and, consequently, its disintegration, effectively supporting the overcoming of the problem of resistance to classical antibacterial therapeutic approach.
Mode of use
1. Exercise a pressure on the top of the bottle until complete rupture of the capsule.
2. Shake the bottle.
3. Take with the syringe inside the package the quantity to be used according to the indications of the Veterinary Doctor.
