Description
Rooibos is often referred to as red tea, although it has nothing to do with real tea. Rooibos is a natural product without teine, caffeine, cultivated in South Africa. It is obtained through the fermentation of the needle-shaped leaves, the Aspalathus linearis, a shrub about 1.5 meters high. Unlike black tea contains less tannins and being completely free of teine can be consumed at all hours of the day.
