Description
Medical food for special purposes, indicated for dietary treatment of subjects with inflammatory processes to load of the colon for the recovery of the correct functionality of the mucosa, based on sodium butyrate, niacin and Lactobacillus acidophilus tidalized.
Butyric acid is quickly absorbed in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract.
To allow sodium butyrate to reach the intestinal tract, Zymecol tablets have been coated by a gastro-resistant film consisting of a mixture of etylcellulose, hydroxide ammonium, triglycerides to medium chain, oleic acid, alginate sodium and stearic acid.
The percentage of increase in the film and the percentage ratio between alginate and etylcellulose sodium allow to modulate the release of the assets in the desired gastrointestinal tract.
Ingredients
Sodium butyrate; charge agents: microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxy-propyl-methylcellulose, hydroxy-propyl-cellulose; coating coating coating [agenti di rivestimento: etilcellulosa, idrossido d'ammonio, acidi grassi, idrossi-propil-metilcellulosa, glicerolo, cellulosa microcristallina, alginato di sodio; trigliceridi a media catena; colorante: biossido di titanio], niacin (nicotinamide); stabilizer: sodium alginate; anti-agglomerating agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; Lactobacillus acidophilus DSM 21717 tindalized.
Without gluten, no sugar.
Of course without lactose.
Nutritional characteristics
Mode of use
The daily dose of Zymecol must be established and controlled by the doctor. Orientally we recommend taking 1 to 2 tablets daily in 2 separate administrations, morning and evening, on an empty stomach.
The tablets must be swallowed whole, once at a time, accompanied by a sufficient amount of water.
Do not break the tablets in order not to compromise the integrity of the gastro-resistant coating.
Warnings
To be used after indication and under surveillance of a doctor.
The product is not suitable for use as the only source of nutrition.
Indicated for the food regime of people suffering from irritable colon.
Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place sheltered from light, moisture and direct sources of heat.
The minimum term of preservation refers to the product in an integrated package, properly preserved.
Validity of whole packaging: 30 months.
