Each capsule contains: Ascorbic acid mg 500 in long-term microperline.

Excellent

Microperle excipients: sucrose, lacquer rubber, talc, starch, tartaric acid. Excipients of gelatinous capsules: gelatin, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, erythrosine, chinoline yellow.

Therapeutic indications

Prophylaxis and therapy of vitamin C deficiency (gravity, lactation, artificial feeding of infants, tendency to hemorrhages for capillary fragility). Helpful in the therapy of stomatitis and gums.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Population

One capsule of C-TARD in the morning and one capsule in the evening. Do not exceed the recommended doses.

Conservation

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C

Warnings

Ascorbic acid may interfere, at high doses, on the results of some diagnostic tests (in particular the search for glucose in the urine with non-specific means). The product contains sucrose, which is taken into account in diabetic patients and patients who follow a hypocaloric regime. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult the Doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

Interactions

Problems connected to interaction with other drugs have never been highlighted.

Effects

To the higher dosages than recommended, cephalea and gastrointestinal disorders were reported. If any other side effects occur, consult the Doctor.

Overdosing

There were no overdose phenomena with the use of C-TARD.

There are no contraindications.
