-the treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children aged 8 years. Treatment of oral rehydrating solutions to avoid dehydration;
-the treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults.
The main component of DiosmectalGo is diosmectite. Diosmectite is a natural clay that helps to block and treat diarrhea and relieve abdominal pain. It has been shown that:
-binds toxins and germs (battery and viruses) and helps to eliminate them from the body;
-protects the intestinal tract and helps to repair intestinal damage thanks to its natural coating properties.
Ingredients
Diosmectite, caramel cocoa taste (mix of natural and synthetic aromas, coloring caramel E150d, caramelized sugar syrup, propylene glycol E1520, water, ethanol, caffeine), xanthan gum, monohydrate citric acid, ascorbic acid, potassium sorbate, sucralose, purified water.
Mode of use
This medical device should be taken orally and is ready to drink. The contents of the bag can be ingested directly. Massage the bag before opening it. Each bag should be used once only after opening it.
· In case of acute diarrhea
-Children (8-15 years included): 2 sachets to start, followed by 1 sachet each soft evacuation, up to 4 sachets per day. An oral rehydrating solution (ORS) must be taken to reintegrate lost liquids due to diarrhea and to prevent dehydration.
-Adults and children over 15 years: 2 sachets to start, followed by 1 sachet each soft evacuation, up to 6 sachets per day.
· In case of chronic diarrhea and abdominal pain
-Exclusively adults: up to 3 sachets per day (1 in the morning, 1 in the middle of the day, 1 in the evening), as required.
Without medical advice, you can use this medical device for up to 2 weeks. Prolonged or repeated uses of DiosmectalGo are not recommended.
Warnings
Keep out of reach and sight of children. It should not be used after the expiry date that is reported on the packaging. If you have forgotten to take a dose, take the dose after the subsequent soft evacuation (intestinal movement). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The most common side effect reported during treatment is constipation. If constipation occurs, the treatment must be stopped and if necessary resumed at a lower daily dose. Other less common side effects include skin rashes, hives, itching and angioedema (skin, lips, throat and swollen tongue). If you notice any other unwanted effect not listed, or if any unwanted effect persists, consult your physician or pharmacist.
