Mepilex Lite
Description
Medical device CE. Medication in thin and highly conformable foam that absorbs the exudate and keeps the wound in humid environment. The Safetac layer adheres to the edges of the wound, preventing exudates from spilling on the perilesional skin, thus minimizing the risk of maceration. The Safetac layer ensures atraumatic treatment changes. Mepilex Lite can be cut out in order to adapt to wounds of various form and placement. The dressing consists of:
• a contact layer with the soft silicone wound (Safetac)
• a thin cushion in polyurethane foam
• a breathable outdoor film, but waterproof to water.
Mode of use
Clean the wound according to normal procedures. Dry the perilesional area thoroughly. Remove protective films and apply the adhesive side to the wound. Do not pull the dressing during the application. To achieve the best result, Mepilex Lite must cover at least 2 cm of healthy skin on the perimeter of the injury. If necessary cut the product. If necessary, fix Mepilex Lite with bandage or other system.
Mepilex Lite can be left on site up to 7 days, depending on the conditions of injury and the surrounding area and in accordance with the indications of the health care staff. A change in the treatment of wounds often corresponds to an increase in the level of exudates. Carefully check the wound conditions and increase the frequency of changes.

Warnings
In case of infection, consult your doctor. Do not use Mepilex Lite if you use substances containing oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water). Do not use the product if the package is not integrated. Steriality guaranteed only with integrated packaging. Disposable product. Don't resterilize.
Conservation
Store at a temperature below 35°C, in a dry place. Do not expose in direct sunlight.
