Description
Dr. Brux is a handy self-tapping bite indicated to protect teeth from bruxism or dig.
Anatomical shape for high comfort thanks to a particular thermoplastic material with two different durability. The first, the side wall, to give stability and comfort, the second, occlusal plane, to create a support plan that facilitate the slip of the teeth during the grinding and make the bite resistant to wear.
Made of thermo-mouldable material. Dip Dr.Brux in boiling water for a few seconds and put it in the mouth, you get a bite that fits the teeth, thus obtaining a great stability and a high comfort. Thanks to the “calibrate” occlusal thicknesses that help bring the jaw to rest position, relaxation of the muscle bands is facilitated. The thickness of the bite creates an elongation of the muscles and therefore a reduction of the forces exerted by the chewing muscles.
Hygienic and coloured, it is provided with a protective case and is made of four different colors to be easily recognized in the context of a family nucleus.
Mode of use
Adaptation must take place on the teeth of the upper arch.
Handle the adjustment device “Cross-Shaped System” and insert it into the Bite Dr. Brux. Before proceeding to customization, try to insert the bite into the mouth, to take confidence with the next maneuvers.
In a pan, bring to boil about 500 ml of water: it is necessary to reach the temperature of 100°C (to boil water do not use microwave). Remove the pan from the fire or the electric plate. Handle the customization device as illustrated, completely dip the bite into the boiling water (100°C) for 6 seconds (using a chronometer). Extract the bite and shake it energetically to eliminate residual water. By doing the bite will be hot, but it will not burn.
Lightly enlarge the walls of the bite to facilitate the insertion on the teeth. Warning: prevent the walls from bowing to the inside and may be bitten. Insert the bite into the mouth, closing the teeth without tightening too much, keeping the adjustment device inserted. With the lips closed, inhale air and make a suction, with decision, for at least a minute, in order to eliminate the air inside the mouth. In this way, a “under-empty” will be created and the walls of the bite will adhere perfectly to the external and internal surfaces of the teeth, thus obtaining an optimal conformation of the bite. At the same time press your fingers against the cheeks to join the external part of the bite to the teeth. After about a minute, remove the bite from the mouth and immerse it in cold water for at least 2 minutes. At this point remove the adjustment device and the bite will be ready to be used.
In case Dr. Brux was not stable, repeat customization operations, paying greater attention. In order to improve customization, in case the modeling has not happened precisely in all parts of the bite, it is recommended to repeat the operation by dipping the bite only in the affected portion using one of the 4 grafting points of the adapting device.
Do not throw the adjustment device because, if the dental situation changes, it will be possible to remodel the bite.
In the case, after customization, any smears or folds of material occur, eliminate them using scissors or a cutter.
If Dr. Brux was too long, shorten it near the precut using scissors or a cutter.
After use, before storing the bite in the case, wash it with a toothbrush under a jet of cold water. For proper hygiene and cleanliness of Dr. Brux, it is recommended to make a full disinfection weekly, to avoid bacterial development caused by the dental plaque.
Warnings
We recommend the use of Bite in the presence of permanent teething.
In case of marked dental or gum dysfunctions, in the presence of orthodontic, fixed or mobile devices, or removable prostheses, before using Dr. Brux ask for advice to the dentist.
Do not remodel the bite more than 10 times.
Do not use the microwave to heat the water.
Never wash the bite with boiling water.
Avoid placing the bite close to heat sources.
Do not use the bite with the inserted customization device.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
