Description
Food supplement containing selenium in bioavailable form, which contributes to the normal functioning of the thyroid.
Selenium is an oligomineral present in man. It is present as selenocysteine in selenoproteins, whose major families include peroxidase glutathione, tioredoxine reductase and iodothyronine deiodinase. Being cofactor of these different selenoproteins, Selenium is involved in different aspects of thyroid homeostasis.
The presence of L-seleniometionin subform selenium guarantees good bioavailability accompanied by the lower risk of toxicity, which makes it appropriate for long term use. Bioperine is a standardized extract of black pepper containing piperine. Bioperine has been shown to increase the bioavailability of hydro and liposoluble nutrients in particular of L-seleniometionin.
Ingredients
Oil soy, food jelly; resistance agent: glycerol (E 422); selenium yeast, black pepper (Piper Nigrum L. e.s., fructus) (bioperine); anti-agglomerating agent: silicon dioxide (E 551); L-seleniomethine; dyes: iron oxide (E172).
Without gluten and without lactose.
