The Adapt CeraRing Plan ring is a medical device for stomy management. Ideal for the care and protection of stomies that require an extra level of protection; ideal for customizing standard systems, improving the durability and response to individual needs.
Adapt CeraRing optimizes the level of skin protection.
Improve comfort and safety by facilitating the management of the most complex cases.
Made of hydrocolloid infused with Ceramide, with high erosion resistance, helps protect the natural hydration of the skin.
No alcohol. Ideal also in the presence of skin injuries.
Preformed anatomically with differentiated thickness, easy to apply.
It maintains the shape without alterations, constitutes a perfect seal against losses.
Extensible and cropable, for perfect adaptation to individual needs.
Free from latex, DEHP, DBP, BBP.
Components
Pectina, Carbossimetilcellulose, Polysobutilene, Ceramide, Petrolatum, Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene, Hydrocarbonate Aliphatic.
Mode of use
Adapt barrier rings can be applied under hydrocolloid plates and adhesives, even in combination with levelling paste. For proper application, the skin must be clean and dry.
1. Both protective film of the barrier ring can be removed at the same time or, if you prefer, only one film can be removed, keeping the opposite film to facilitate the application.
2. Model and stretch the barrier ring according to the need before applying it on the plate. To facilitate the adjustment of the ring, it may be necessary to remove both protective films.
3. Place the plaque with the ring centering it on the stoma. Keep in place for several seconds.
4. Gently detach from the skin proceeding from the other down, keeping the skin tense with a slight pressure.
Warnings
There are no contraindications known to the use of this device.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
Validity of packaging: 24 months.
No special disposal protocols required. In the presence of institutional procedures/dispositions, refer to the specific precautionary rules in manipulation.
