Description
Medical device Class I (Directive 93/42/EEC). Disposable. Not sterile.
Zinc oxide. Support and compression. Easy to apply, dermophile, contains no jelly. It has high adhesiveness at the edges, which do not parade. Low moisture content and quick drying.
Used in the management and care of phlebological diseases such as: venous ulcers, venous edemas, thrombophlebites. For support bandages and relief in the treatment of mourning, distortions, contusions, tenosinovitis. Recommended after removal of chalk bandages and in the management of post-traumatic edemas.
Latex-free.
Components
61% viscose, 39% polyamide.
Composition of zinc oxide paste:
Zinc oxide, Hydrocolloids, Destrines, Glycerine, Purified Water; Conservatives: AND 216, AND 218.
Zinc oxide paste: 78% ±2%
Warnings
Do not use in case of:
Peripheral arteriopathies;
Myocardial insufficiency;
Septic Flebite;
on patients with arterial diseases;
on diabetic patients with disease of advanced vessels.
Cover with a tubular bandage to prevent stains on clothes. To prolong the cooling effect and avoid skin irritations, keep the bandage damp every day. In case the bandage was too rigid or too dry to remove, moisten with warm water.
Disposable product. Always apply on clean and dry skin. Do not apply blindfolding with excessive tension in order to avoid constriction laces. For fixing medications, apply the blindfold from the center to the end of the dressing. Never connect the end and pull the bandage to fix at the opposite end (can cause skin lesions).
Conservation
Store in a cool place (between 5°C and 30°C) and dry.
