Property
For our body iron is an important mineral: supports the production of red blood cells and helps fight fatigue.
Barinutrics iron is based on iron bisglycinate, it is a kelate, that is a form of iron particularly well absorbed, which is also very well tolerated by stomach and intestine.
The iron of Barinutrics Ferro is present in the form of bivalent iron (Fe++).
It is the only form assimilated by our body.
In the vegetarian diet, iron is present in the form of trivalent iron (Fe+++) and must therefore be converted by the bivalent iron body.
The process takes place in an acidic environment that surgery makes difficult (gastric content is less acid).
