Cream
Description
AcmedTM New azelaic acid at 20% effective in the patient suffering from acne of any type, both in acute phase and in maintenance therapy, with a profile of tolerance greater than benzoyl peroxide.
Azelaic acid is today one of the most considered substances for the care of vulgar acne, especially in mild to moderate forms, but also rosacea. As from its many skin-level actions, its antiacneic and anti-methomethogenic action (against black points and typical acne pimples), well documented by numerous clinical studies, is due to:
- antibacterial properties (especially against the Propionibacterium acnes);
- inhibitory activity against the proliferation of keratin;
- anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity (against free radicals);
- activity of reduction of the content of free fatty acids in the lipids of the skin surface (less fat skin);
- depigmentating action, useful to effectively counteract skin spots due to acne.
Compared to other topical treatments used for acne, azelaic acid is no sensitive photo, so it can also be used in the summer months.
The first results can be observed after two months of treatment but, normally, it is essential to continue further with the application of the cream to obtain a complete remission of the signs and symptoms of acne.
It does not contain fragrances.
Mode of use
Wash the area to be treated (such as face, chest or back). Apply the product with a light massage. Do not rinse the treated area. Wash your hands after application. It is recommended to apply the product 1-2 times a day up to 12 weeks.
Warnings
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with the eyes rinse them with plenty of fresh water. Exclusively for external use. Keep out of reach of children. For any information or doubt, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
