Description
The closed sack for Moderma Flex cholestomy is a single-piece medical device, suitable for stool collection.
The bag is equipped with:
- square anatomical design plate with rounded corners. Dimensions about 100x100 mm, ensures maximum flexibility and adaptability to the contours of the body, for the benefit of comfort and adherence, against the risk of infiltration
- CeraPlus hydrocolloid to integral protection, contains ceramides, ideal to help peristomal skin to keep healthy and prevent transepidermal water loss (transepidermal water loss)
- transparent protection film with tab and cut-out guide, facilitates the preparation and application of hydrocolloid
- 4-layer laminated film Quiet Film and anti-foam, anti-odor, soft and delicate in contact with the skin
- anatomical shape of the sack
- coating T.N.T. Comfort Wear, present on both sides, does not hold the wet, and soft, breathable and dries easily. Skin color for greater discretion
- with window: curved slot in T.N.T. that allows the patient or nurse to control the stomia and facilitates the correct positioning of the bag. The stems of the window are welded together and will only be opened with a slight tension. The opening of the window will in no way allow the entrance of water in the collection bag during the bath or shower
- 100% activated carbon AF300 filter, 300 mm active surface2 protected by two special membranes in Gore material permeable to gases, waterproof to oils and liquids (hollister Incorporated patent). Located in the apical area to allow full use of the sack, prevents swelling, prevents losses, does not need filter cover.
Mode of use
It is recommended to keep the bag from 12 to 48 hours.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
