Alvita kit accessories aerosol
Description
The equipment includes:
- connection tube;
- nebulizer (top and bottom);
- pediatric nasal;
- adult nasal;
- lip;
- adult mask in bi-material;
- pediatric mask in bi-material.
Mode of use
Before use, clean the amp and accessories. We recommend a personal use of the amp and accessories to avoid any risk of infection from contagion.
Open the amp by turning the top counterclockwise. Pour the medicine prescribed by your doctor at the bottom. Close the amp by turning the top clockwise. Connect the accessories as indicated in the link diagram. Sit comfortably holding the nebulizer, lean the mouthpiece or use the nasal or mask. In case of use of the mask accessory, support it to the face, with or without the use of the elastic. Put the appliance into operation by activating the switch and inhale and exhale deeply. Finish the application, turn off the appliance and detach the plug. After use clean the amp and accessories. If during the use of the amp there is an evident humidity storage inside the tube, remove the pipe from the amp and dry it with the ventilation of the compressor itself; this action prevents possible proliferation of molds within the tube.
Cleaning instructions
For cleaning the appliance and the outside of the pipe use only a moistened cloth with antibacterial cleaner (non-abrasive and solvent-free of any nature).
For cleaning the accessories open the nebulizer by turning the top, then disassemble it as indicated in the link diagram. Before and after each use, sanitize the amp and accessories by choosing one of the methods as described below.
Method A (for all accessories): clean the accessories under hot water (about 40°C) drinking with mild detergent for dishes (not abrasive) or in a dishwasher with hot cycle.
Method B (for all accessories): clean the accessories by immersion in a solution with 60% water and 40% white vinegar, finally rinse thoroughly with hot water (about 40°C) drinking.
Method C (for nebulizer, pediatric nasal, adult nasal and mouthpiece): clean the accessories by boiling in water for 20 minutes; it is preferable to use demineralized or distilled water to avoid calcareous deposits.
After cleaning the accessories shake them energetically and attach them on a paper napkin, or alternatively wipe them with a hot air jet (for example hairdryer).
Warnings
This is a medical device and should be used with medications prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Before using the accessories, consult the manual of the appliance. It is important that the patient read and understand the information for use. Contact your dealer or service center for any questions. The expected average life of the accessories is 1 year however it is advisable to replace the amp every 6 months in intensive use (or first if the amp is obstructed) in order to always ensure maximum therapeutic effectiveness. In the presence of children and non-self-sufficient persons, the appliance must be used under the close supervision of an adult who has read this manual. Some components of the appliance are so small that they can be swallowed by children; keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
