Description
Food supplement of Berberis aristata e.s., red rice, polycosanol, folic acid, coenzyme Q10 and astaxanthin. The Berberis aristata e.s. promotes control of plasma cholesterol and triglycerides and integration of a diet that is globally adapted to this end. The fermented red rice is produced by the fermentation of rice (Oryza sativa) with a particular strain of Monascus purpureus. The fermented red rice contains the monacoline K, a natural product that has chemical structure belonging to the class of statins that intervene in the metabolism of cholesterol and its activity is of entity related to the dose administered. Polycosanol is a mixture of natural fatty alcohol contained in the waxy matrix of sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum) of rice bran (Oryza sativa) and bees wax (Apis mellifera). Folic acid contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism. Homocysteine is a substance normally produced in the body as a result of the metabolization of methionine amino acid that we introduce into our organism with food. The homocysteine produced is then transformed again into methionine. If this process of conversion does not occur, or only partially, untransformed homocysteine accumulates in the body and can be harmful to various organs and in particular to the health of the cardiovascular system. Armolipid Plus covers the daily physiological requirements of folic acid. Coenzyme Q10 is a physiological constituent of our organism that intervenes in the oxide-riduttive reactions involved in the synthesis of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Astaxanthin is a substance synthesized by the Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae and plays an important role in oxide-reductive reactions.

Mode of use
Take one tablet a day, except for different medical advice. In case of difficulty in swallowing, it is suggested to break the tablet in two parts and take it with a glass of water.
Warnings

Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
