Descrizione Clinica
MD-SHOULDER
Description
Medical device based on type I pig collagen to reduce pain and improve joint mobility of the shoulder and upper limb.
Mode of use
- Peri-articular: introduce the needle near the joint to a minimum depth of 13-25 mm.
- intra-articular: introduce the needle below the lower margin of the rear corner of the acromion, towards the coracoid process.
CONSIGATIONS
- Peri-articular: 26G x 25 mm needle.
- Intra-articular: 22G x 32 mm needle.
Note: perform accurate disinfection of the skin with hypopovidone or chlorhexidine.
TERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL
1-2 infiltrations per week to contain the physiological or pathological deterioration of the jointing of the shoulder, elbow and surrounding tissues. Already evident results from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment until the tenth week without risk.
Components
Collagen of suine origin, Iris versicolor, sodium chloride, injectable water.
Warnings
Shoulder-loaded algies require differential diagnosis with chronic cervical syndrome, ischemic cardiopathy (acute/chronic, only for left shoulder), cholecystitis/colelysis (only for right shoulder), cervico-brachyalgia, muscle trigger point of trapetium.
A slight redness in the injection area can be due to the mechanical effect of the needle or a skin reaction. The application may cause symptoms of burning/dollar in injection sites, which generally resolve within 5-10 minutes from the end of treatment.
Skin cleaning/disinfection is necessary before and after application. Any pyogenic bacteria could produce abscess in the injection area.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use after expiry. The expiration date refers to the product in a package that is integrated and correctly preserved. Use the product immediately after opening.
Format
Pack of 5 and 10 bottles (2 ml each-volume removable).
