Description
MASKottina is a bacteriostatic protective filter mask for children with double layer of elasticized, washable, water repellent and antimicrobial fabric. To be used for the protection of the streets areas (nase and mouth) to avoid contamination from and to other people. MASKotte is a Class I Medical Device, in compliance with UNI EN 14683:2019, made of polyester and polypropylene mixed fabric, elasticized, antimicrobial and water repellent. MASKotte helps protect and protect itself during operations that expose to risks and generic use. The mask is a mechanical barrier that serves to avoid contamination from and to those who use it, protecting the airways from dust, spray and other material. The medical device is not sterile and is reusable. Each mask is subjected to a special antimicrobial treatment based on Zinco Piritione (ISO 22196 test and registered in the list of the Environment Protection Agency - EPA) as well as a waterproofing treatment that prevents aqueous drips, e.g. speaking or with cough and sneezing, to pass the fabric. MASKotte has a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 98.5% so it has a high barrier effect and excellent tissue ability to resist bacterial penetration. MASKotte is delicate on the skin; fiber is guaranteed and certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for harmlessness to human health. Washable at 60°C. Reusable 10 times. Size: 130 x 100 mm. Weight: 9 g. Mode of use
MASKotte should be used to avoid contamination.
How to wear mask:
- Hygienize hands washing them abundantly with soap and water;
- Remove the mask from the package;
- Display the inner side of the mask which is highlighted by the coloured threads attached to the sides;
- Wear the mask by placing one at a time the elastics behind the ears;
- Pull the bottom of the mask down to cover completely nose, mouth and chin.
How to remove mask and maintenance:
- Take it from the elastic, avoiding touching the inner part;
- After taking off the mask thoroughly wash your hands;
- It is recommended daily use and then washing the mask.
Cleaning and disinfection:
- Resistance of water repellent and antibacterial treatments of the fabric: 10 washes.
- Hand wash at 60°C: the mask can be washed by hand by dipping it, rubbing it gently and pressing it into the water and neutral soap, without the use of softeners.
- Drying: dry in the open air avoiding direct sunlight.

Mask fabric: 55% polyester, 35% polyamide, 7% polypropylene, 3% elastane.
Warnings
The use of the mask is prohibited where FPP2 masks are expressly required, FPP3, other masks with filter and in general defined DPI (individual protection device). Before using the mask carefully read the manual. Do not use in case of proven allergies to components. Do not apply the mask on the skin loose or on a wound. Do not apply the medical device on parts of the body other than the face. Masks don't cure any disease. It is absolutely forbidden to make any changes to the medical device. There are no side effects to report. However, do not wear the mask on the skin when there is a wound or irritation. In case of irritation caused by the product, suspend and consult the Medico. The medical device can cause irritation on particularly sensitive or allergic subjects to the material it is made with. Do not use if you are allergic to the material indicated in the composition. Individual hypersensitivity reactions cannot be excluded in predisposed subjects. Do not ingest and avoid contact with eyes.
Conservation
After use, store the washed mask and completely dried inside a container. Store your medical device in fresh indoor environments, away from atmospheric agents, moisture, steam jets, dust and liquids. Store your medical device away from heat sources, free flames and direct irradiation.
