Descrizione Clinica
ENTEROCLISMA
FROM TRAVEL
Description
Medical device used to release the last section of the intestine from feces and/or gas, with the introduction of a probe in the rectum and/or sigma.
Its use is for diagnostic purposes, in proximity to surgery, or simply for a momentary difficulty in evacuating due to the presence of a traumatic obstructive fecaloma, or in case of stipsi or other problems related to defecation.
It can also be used in households.
Equipped with anal cannula for enemaries and vaginal cannula of irrigation.
Mode of use
Before performing any installation of the Device perform a cleaning and sanitizing and, if considered necessary, sterilization of the parts in contact with the user (cannule).
To perform the assembly work as follows:
• Insert the fitting into the bottom end of the bag, screwing it at the bottom (without the tools)
• Insert the transparent tube on the fitting so that the same arrives until the rubber door bar
• Insert the other head of the transparent tube on the rubber door on the tap with lever; the section of insertion of the pipe on the tap must be such as to ensure the subsequent seal to the therapeutic liquids that will be used and at the same time avoid the parade during the manual operation
• Hang in suitable position and vertically the bag, using the supplied handle; the support used must ensure a solid anchoring in place so as to avoid any contamination, i.e. incidental introductions of foreign liquids/materials inside the bag. The positioning height of the bag determines the pressure of the water inside the cannula; ask the doctor to what height to place the bag
• Close the tap using the lever (the closed position can be identified with the 90° orientation of the lever compared to the liquid flow)
• At the tap screw one of the two cannulas supplied (depending on use).
Now the Device is ready to use.
Preventive checks before use
Make sure before the disimballo is intact. In case there are missing and/or damaged parts, do not use, but contact the seller who sold the device. For any clarification, please contact the pharmacist/doctor.
Always and before any use that all parts constituting the device: are intact and not damaged (e.g. presence of cracks, bruises, lacerations), have not changed colour, assumed non-uniform colors, do not have superficial molds and do not come from the inside of the bag with handle and other components.
In such cases do not use and replace immediately.
Cleaning mode
Before using the device the first time and the next, manually disassemble all parts and perform a washing using lukewarm water and neutral soap and then sanitize it (disinfect); cannulas are sterilisable with gamma rays, hot and with ethylene oxide.
For the appropriate method of sanitizing manually disassemble all constituent parts of the device and consult the Trusted Pharmacist/Medic, taking into account the composition of the various materials indicated in the characteristics.
Do not use brushes for cleaning but only soft sponges so as not to scratch the surface.
Do not use alcohol, solvents, acids to clean the surfaces of the device.

Warnings
Some uses not allowed, and therefore prohibited of the device:
- Use in contact with injured parts of the human body.
- Use for temporary use over 60 minutes.
- Use for irrigations other than vaginal or rectal.
- Introduce substances that are not liquid and with a viscosity other than water.
- Use in combination or as parts of other medical devices.
- Use with liquids above 35°C.
- Modify or alter the constituent parts and/or characteristics.
- Use without hearing the advice of a doctor.
- Abuse the use.
Conservation
Store in the original packaging together with a dry environment, not in direct contact with radiant sources of heat, sheltered from dust and harmful materials and outside the reach of children.
Do not pile heavy parts over the device, do not subject the same to mechanical stress.
Do not store the device if some parts are wet and/or wet.
