Description
For the reduction of acute intestinal absorption disorders in the dog and cat (e.g. acute diarrhea from food indiscretion). During acute diarrhea and subsequent periods of convalescence.
Palmitoyl-glucosamine (PGA) is a substance present in nature that helps maintain the integrity and physiological function of the intestinal lining. The micronized form (PGA-m) improves the bioavailability of the PGA and its ability to maintain healthy the intestine of dogs and cats suffering from acute diarrhea. The synergy between tannic acid (plant polyphenol with astringent action) and bentonite (argillous mineral with adsorbent action) is able to increase the consistency of the feces, slowing the intestinal transit. The electrolytic complex (sodium salts, potassium and magnesium) restores the correct hydro-saline balance compromised during diarrhea.
Nutritional characteristics
*PGA-m: palmitoil-glucosamine micronized.
