Prepare to face new roads

In addition, the 3" screen is bright and of immediate reading - either pedaling in direct sunlight, on a day covered by clouds or even in the rain. Pedal towards adventure
With Edge Explore, you can explore the surroundings safely without losing the right direction. Born with Garmin Cycle Map preloaded that indicates the right direction wherever you want to go — from scenic routes, to restaurants, to a bike shop. The routes are created according to the Trendline popularity routing method, the result of the collection and aggregation of billions of kilometers imported from our users. It allows you to cycle safely along the routes and trails preferred by cyclists. Along the way, Edge Explore provides directions after turning with the pronunciation of street names and of course it is also able to get you back on the route when you are off course, or at the starting point in case you decide to go home early.
Connected pedal
Leave the smartphone in the pocket of the shirt and enjoy your exit because Edge Explore offers all the connectivity you need. Use LiveTrack to allow friends and family to know your location in real time or the GroupTrack function to know where the other cyclists of your group are (up to 50 companions). If the components of your group are detached or delayed, the rider-to-rider messages (with the compatible smartphone) allow you to send predefined messages from your Edge Cycle-computer to their Edge and to know if you reach them in a few minutes or if they have to continue without you. In the unfortunate event that you have a rubber on the ground or need assistance, you can send a message to the other associated cyclists, with the GroupTrack function.
Customize your device
Customize the Edge Explorer cycle-computer is easy with free apps, widgets and data fields you prefer from our Connect IQTM store. If you plan your routes on sites like Strava Summit, Komoot or Wikiloc, download these apps from Connect IQ to import them directly to the Edge and use them. Alternatively, if you are looking for a nearby bar or bike shop, use the Yelp app to download its locations and reach them using your Edge device.
