Descrizione Clinica
UTILISSIMI
209/03 Grey
Description
Polycarbonate polymer reading glasses not regenerated. Aspherical lenses in polycarbonate, focal centers aligned horizontally.
Material used for mounting: polycarbonate, a thermoplastic polymer obtained from carbonic acid with mechanical characteristics of high strength and maximum elasticity.
Material used for lenses: polycarbonate.
Other lens features: focal centers aligned horizontally: means that the focal centers of both lenses, right and left, are positioned, horizontally, on the same axis.
Type of lenses: aspherical, which produce a marked improvement in the image quality, in the reduction of distortions to the sides of the lens and in the lower magnification effect of the eye.
The glasses UTILISSIMI are made of infrared lenses and excellent quality. The interpupillar distance is 62 mm and the diopters of the two lenses of the same eyelet are equal. The frames are made of materials devoid of winding agents.
Dioptric power: reported on the eye.
Diopters available:
+1,00, +1,50, +2,00, +2,50, +3,00, +3,50
Medical device class I Dir. 93/42 EEC
Cleaning
Use a damp cloth and a normal neutral detergent and dry with a clean soft cloth. Avoid using solvents (e.g. alcohol and acetone) and aggressive chemical cleaners that can compromise the functionality of the eyelet.
Warnings
Notices provided by EN 14139:2010, reference D.m. 26/11/2004:
- Just for close vision and reading.
- Only regular examinations at a professional ophthalmologist can determine the visual needs and the health of the eyes (EN 14139).
- Not intended for driving or driving a vehicle.
- Not intended for distance vision.
- Not intended for eye protection.
Other warnings: In order to correctly assess the extent and nature of a visual defect, the prior examination of the view is necessary. In any case, the assessment of the visual defect cannot be based on self-diagnosis or on the choice of glasses considered suitable for subsequent approximations. The pre-assembled glasses for presbiopy, built industrially with lenses of identical dioptric power, are indicated exclusively for the correction of the presbiopy “simple”. The pre-assembled glasses are indicated exclusively for the close view. They must not be used for driving, or for vision from afar, or for eye protection. Improper use, i.e. the use of a wrong gradation of glasses can be caused by various vision disorders, with possible headache. In this case, ophthalmological control is required. Only the ophthalmologist can assess the health of the eyes and the extent of visual disturbances. Preassembled glasses for presbiopia should not be used in case of presbiopia “complete”. Presbyopia glasses do not improve vision in case of eye diseases, such as cataracts or macular degenerations. Presbyopia is characterized by a physiological and progressive weakening of the view that is typically manifested, after 45 years with a series of disorders such as difficulty in reading the newspaper or to distinguish well from small objects closely. Presbyopia is considered “simple” when for the correction of the visual defect, both eyes need the same number of corrective diopters (the diopters are the unit of measurement of visual capacity). Presbyopia is considered “complex” in the presence of astigmatism or anisometropia or when the number of diopters in each eye is different. Astigmatism is a defect of sight due to irregular curve of the cornea that determines a vision of blurred and deformed images. Ansometropia is characterized by a different vice of refraction in the two eyes.
Conservation
Glasses should be stored at a temperature between -10° and +35°C in their case. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun as temperatures that can be reached can damage the functionality of the eye.
