Descrizione Clinica
NEPROST
Description
Neprost is a medical device based on plant extracts useful as a coadjuvant in treatments aimed at maintaining the properties of the prostate gland or known for beneficial properties on the functions of the urinary tract. It can perform a beneficial effect in the inflammatory affections of the prostate and in the atypical proctitis (induced by radiotherapy) or other nature. The product is suitable for short-term use of constipation and hemorrhoidaria congestion through a soothing action.
Mode of use
We recommend a suppository per day preferably in the evening before bedtime. For optimum operation it is recommended to correctly apply the suppository, ensuring the correct insertion in the deepest part of the rectal amp.
Neprost's assumptions can reduce the time of stay in the intestine, and consequently also the absorption of other drugs taken at the same time by mouth; it is therefore recommended, after taking an oral medicine, to let pass at least 2 hours before taking Neprost.
Components
Lactoferrin, Glycerophosphoinositol, Hyaluronic Acid.
Warnings
Avoid taking Neprost as much as possible while using other devices or medicinal products.
Consult your physician in any case before taking Neprost in case of ongoing drug therapies.
No known side effects are reported short or medium/long term. Neprost does not adversely affect sensory capabilities (awareness level, ability to drive or perform tasks). In the event of any undesirable effects such as excessive irritation, pain or any disease that may appear related to the use of the medical device immediately suspend the treatment and contact your doctor.
The uneven dark color that can present the suppository is a characteristic of the product, and is not an index of degradation of the efficacy or poor preservation of the product.
Keep away from the reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package and on the blister.
Neprost is not sterile; however, it is recommended not to use the suppositories in case of damaged primary packaging (blister).
Each suppository is disposable and must be extracted from the packaging only immediately before use: do not use broken or extracted suppositories from blister in unknown times, as this way of use may result in risks of contamination of the product.
Do not attempt to reuse accidentally spilled after the first attempt to use it.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.
In case of ineffectiveness of the medical device after correct use according to the recommended dosage, suspend use and contact your doctor.
The abuse of laxatives, especially those of contact (stimulating laxatives), can cause dependence, chronic constipation and loss of normal intestinal functions (intestinal atony), persistent diarrhea resulting in loss of water, mineral salts (especially potassium) and other essential nutrients. In severe cases of abuse, dehydration or hypopotassiemia may occur, which may result in cardiac or neuromuscular dysfunctions, especially in the case of contemporary treatment of heart glycosides, diuretics or corticosteroids.
Do not use below 12 years.
The intake of Neprost is not recommended in case of known hypersensitivity of the user to one of the components.
Do not also use:
- acute or unknown abdominal pain;
- nausea or vomiting;
- obstruction or intestinal stenosis;
- rectal bleeding of unknown origin;
- acute hemorrhoid crisis with pain and bleeding;
- severe dehydration.
Neprost can be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding, but only in cases of real need and only after consulting your doctor.
Older or unhealthy subjects should in any case consult their physician before using Nepros.
Conservation
Store the suppositories in the blister, in a dry place and sheltered from light sources or direct heat: extract the suppository only immediately before use. Store the device below 25 °C.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
Format

Net weight: 20 g
