Descrizione Clinica
ConvaMax
Superabsorber Adhesive
Description
Sterile Medication with a silicone layer intended for use in very exudatory lesions. The dressing consists of a non-woven breathable and waterproof polypropylene water layer, a super-absorbent core formed by unwoven cellulose layers with sodium polyacrylate powder, a breathable polypropylene fabric layer and finally a soft silicone layer in contact with lesion. The multi-layer feature facilitates fluid management and provides an optimal wet environment for injury by promoting faster healing. The absorbent pad provides better absorption and blocks the exudate by removing it from the lesion bed, minimizing the risk of maceration and damage to the perilesional skin.
ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive is suitable for handling moderately to highly exudatory lesions, including:
-Using the lower limbs
-Publishing by pressure
-Ulcere of the diabetic foot
-Surgical injuries.
ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive can be used both as primary and secondary medicine.
Sterilization Method: ethylene oxide.
Lattex free.
Mode of use
After cleaning the lesion, choose the appropriate dressing so that there is enough space around the edge of the injury. ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive dressing can be used both as primary and secondary medicine. As a primary medication, it must be in close contact with the lesion bed to ensure fluid absorption. The white surface must be in contact with the skin while the blue waterproof part must stay away from the body. Despite the ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive dressing, additional support may be required by a fixation or a medium to moderate compression bandage. The frequency with which the dressing should be changed depends on the amount of the exudate. The removal of the dressing can be facilitated by moistening it with the saline solution. Disposal as hospital rejection. If contaminated, follow local regulations.
Maximum stay time in situ: 7 days.
Warnings
Do not use on injuries with arterial bleeding and highly bleeding injuries.
Conservation
Store the product in a cool and dry place and avoid light.
Validity of whole packaging: three years.
