Description
Food supplement based on Ruscus aculeatus, quercetin, resveratrol, bromelin, esperidine, vitamin C, vitamin E and folic acid useful in case of increased nutrient requirements, in particular the extract of Ruscus aculeatus is useful for the functionality of hemorrhoidary plexus and vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal blood vessels. Vitamin C and vitamin E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Folic acid contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Sedentity, too fat food consumption, dehydration, evacuation efforts due to stipsis and pregnancy, are risk factors that can expose to dysfunctions of the venous bed placed near the terminal part of the rectum and in the anal zone. These vascular structures subject to deformation phenomena that accompany the thinning of the venous walls, are commonly known as hemorrhoids. The bad venous return that characterizes this disorder can cause bleeding phenomena and the venous prolapse of the anal area resulting in irritation and itching of the perianal zone and the difficulty in evacuation due to the feeling of pain and burning that worsening can make the session difficult. Some substances that can be consumed with food or that can be applied locally are in may be useful in containing phenomena and manifestations related to these disorders. The phytocomplex of the rusco (Ruscus aculeatus) consists of substances that have interesting phlebotonic properties that are very useful in favoring the functionality of the venous circulation and hemorrhoidary plexus. Polyphenols such as quercetin, resveratrol and esperidine are substances known for their antioxidant activity that in several studies, reported in scientific literature, are useful for the physiological function of the whole vascular system. Bromelin is a mixture of protein enzymes extracted from the pineapple stem known for its anti-edemigen properties. Vitamin C is of particular importance for the circulatory system since it is a cofactor who participates in the synthesis of collagen which is a constructive element of the wall of blood vessels. Vitamin E has antioxidant activity so it contributes to the reduction of oxidative stress at the expense of cells and folic acid contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. Some studies highlight how altered levels of homocysteine in the blood are linked to an increased risk for the well-being and functionality of the vascular system in particular peripheral.
