LIPOGIL
Description
Food supplement based on Berberis extract, fermented red rice extract, Octacosanolo, Astaxanthine and Coenzima Q10 which is traditionally used to support regular cardiovascular and liver functions.
Berberina is one of the main alkaloids in the plants of the genus Berberis. In several scientific studies Berberina has proved to be a useful completion in the treatment of dislipidemies, allowing a significant reduction of blood levels of triglycerides, LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol.
Riso rosso Monascus purpureus: during its fermenting activity, this yeast is enriched with a group of substances, called monacoline, which has been scientifically attributed a strong hypocholesterolemizing activity; red rice K monacoline is able to inhibit the reductase HMG-CoA, which represents a key enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis.
Polycosanols are a natural mixture of primary aliphatic alcohols extracted from rice wax or sugar cane. They improve blood lipid profile both by reducing liver cholesterol biosynthesis and by increasing DLD cholesterol clearance.
The antioxidant activity of Astaxanthine has been tested in numerous studies and is in some cases more powerful than that of vitamin E and Beta-carotene. In this function lies the multiple protective effect against oxidative damage in the body.
Coenzyme Q10 is an oxidative reduction agent that acts in the energy production chain of mitochondria.
Ingredients
Indian crepe extract (Berberis aristata D.C., tree bark) titrated to 85% in berberin, capsule in food jelly, extract of red rice fermented by Monascus purpureus titolato at 5% in monacolina K, astaxanthin [from Haermatococcus pluvialis Flotow, heel (contains lecithin soy)], sugar cane polycosanols (Saccharum officinarum L.) titrated to 60% in octacosanolo; antiagglomerants: magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide; coenzyme Q10.
Mode of use
Take 1 capsule daily, swallow it with a little water preferably before a meal.
It is however recommended to feel the doctor's opinion before use.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
Do not use during pregnancy, during breastfeeding and in case of therapy with hypolipidizing drugs.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
