Description
Oleolite of hyperico [Hypericum perforatum L., Fam. Hypericaceae (Guttiferae)] obtained by maceration in the sun of the flowery tops of hyperico in vegetable oil, of red color and characteristic smell, it is known for its soothing action and is also used for massages (Otens for maceration of 20 parts of hyperico top fresh flower in 100 parts of sweet almond oil). It grows throughout Europe in the uncultivated soils, in the gatherings, in the dry meadows and produces from June to August yellow flowers grouped in inflorescences.
