Descrizione Clinica
Diveen
Description
Medical device for the management of urinary incontinence by stress. Urinary incontinence by stress or stress (IUS) is the involuntary loss of urine through the urethra as a result of an increase in abdominal pressure and represents the most common form of female incontinence. Symptoms of stress incontinence include involuntary leaks of urine that cannot be countered when subjecting to a small effort or, for example, when sneezing, laughing, during exercise or sexual activity. These leaks can consist of a few drops of urine or be more consistent and cause skin irritation at points where urine comes into contact with the skin. Despite the name, stress incontinence is not caused by psychological factors, but among its secondary symptoms you can also count anxiety and discomfort due to the embarrassment caused by this disorder. IUS is often experienced with depression and isolation related to fear of failing to control urinary loss. For this reason, the IUS heavily affects social relations, the understanding of couple and thus affect the quality of the life of those who suffer from it. Diveen is the first fully discreet, invisible and clinically proven anti-allergic silicone intravaginal medical device suitable for all women suffering from urine losses. Diveen was designed and designed to support the inner vaginal wall below the bladder neck. When an effort is made, the weight of the bladder determines pressure on the flexible ring of the device. As a result, the hard part of the Diveen causes the urethra to close considerably reducing the risk of urine losses. Diveen is simple to use, it fits and removes it as a vaginal swab thanks to the supplied applicator and the terminal cord. Diveen does not interfere with the physiological urination cycle, it can, therefore, be kept in situ during urination.
Mode of use
Diveen can be used twice no more than 12 hours at a time, washed only with soap and water and stored in a clean and dry place. To prevent risks of urinary tract infections or vagina irritations, the surface of the Diveen does not have micro cavities that could constitute sites of bacterial proliferation and give rise to an infection. Diveen is made of non-recyclable material and must therefore be thrown into household waste.
Warnings
Do not use in combination with topical medicines or medicinal preparations. Remove the device overnight. In case of persistent discomfort or itching remove the device immediately and turn to a doctor. Do not use during pregnancy, after childbirth wait for full healing of sutures and the end of blood loss before using Diveen. Do not use during menstrual flow.
