Ectoin 2% Ophthalmic Solution

CE medical device, class I sterile, which contains 2% Ectoin, a natural cyto-protective molecule, which has anti-inflammatory properties and stabilizes cell membranes. It is an isotonic solution and can be used to treat and prevent symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Prud, red or excessive tearing can be effectively relieved. It protects against the harmful effects of allergens and supports the repair processes of irritated and sensitized joint.

How to use
Save different prescription, apply 1-2 drops per eye even several times a day. At the time of administration, children under the age of 10 should be helped by an adult.
1. Remove the protective cap of the bottle, avoiding touching the tip of the dropper below.
2. Place the index and average on the circular plaque at the top of the bottle and thumb under the bottle.
3. Before using Ectoal for the first time, turn the bottle down and press the base with the thumb 2-3 times, until the exit of the first drops. Don't cut the dropper tip.
4. Tilt the head back and with the index gently push the lower eyelid down and look up. Avoid direct contact of the dropper tip with your fingers, eye surface or possibly contact lens.
5. Apply Ectoal into the joint sack, pressing the bottle firmly once. Thanks to the patented pump mechanism will be released exactly one drop.
6. Close the eye slowly to promote the distribution of the solution across the eye surface.
7. Repeat the procedure for the other eye.
8. After each use, dry the tip of the bottle and close with the protective cap.

Warnings
It should not be used after eye surgery.
It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ectoin or any other of the ingredients of ophthalmic solution.
If an allergic reaction occurs, use should be immediately stopped.
To ensure hygiene, each bottle must be used by one person.
It can be used with contact lenses. No interaction with contact lenses is known.
There are no known interactions between Ectoal and other eye drops or ointments. Wait at least 15 minutes after using Ectoal before applying any other medical device or medication in the eye.
Consult your physician or pharmacist before using this medical device in case of suspected pregnancy, pregnancy or lactation.

Conservation
Store at temperature between 22°C and 25°C.
Do not use for more than 6 weeks after the first opening.
Keep away from the reach of children.
