EMTRIX
New formulation
Treatment of onicomycosis and ointment psoriasis
Description
Medical device.
EMTRIX is a transparent, colourless liquid, supplied in a plastic tube with silicone tip to facilitate the application of the product on the nail.
EMTRIX does not contain preservatives or fragrances. The ingredients are entirely biodegradable.
For the treatment of nails suffering from fungal infections (onicomicosis) or psoriasis.
EMTRIX improves the appearance of discolored and deformed nails. It has a keratalytic physical effect and degrades the cells of the fungi that typically cause organomycosis.
Increases hydration, gently smooths the outer layers of the nail plate and, by changing the microenvironment, improves the integrity of the nail surface itself and keeps it in good condition.
Dermatologically tested.
Components
Propylene glycol, urea, glycerol, lactic acid, water, sodium hydroxide, EDTA disode.
Mode of use
Apply EMTRIX once a day on the nails to be cured, preferably in the evening just before bedtime. Place the tip of the tube on the nail. Press the tube slightly and distribute the solution to the nail using the tip. Cover the nails to be treated with a light layer of the solution. It is important to apply the solution even under the free margin of each of such nails. After application it is necessary to let the nail dry for a few minutes.
The first visible signs of improvement are usually found after 1 week of treatment. The duration of treatment varies depending on the initial severity of the condition, but in many cases it is necessary from 3 to 6 months of treatment to obtain acceptable results. For optimal results, continue the treatment until the growth of a normal nail.
Avoid using enamels during treatment, as the desired effect of EMTRIX would decrease.
EMTRIX works only locally and can therefore be used during pregnancy and nursing.
Warnings
Only for external use.
Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not apply EMTRIX on the nail bed if the nail or the interested parts of the nail are separated from the bottom nail bed.
Keep away from the reach of children. Before using on children it is necessary to consult a doctor.
In some patients minor and transitory irritations of the skin may occur immediately adjacent to the nail and discoloration of the nail.
The loosening/separation of the nail may also occur from the underlying nail bed (onicolisi), including the detachment of the interested part of the nail.
Conservation
Store between 22°C and 25°C. Protect from sunlight and freezing.
Use within the expiry date indicated on the tube and the outer box.
Validity of whole packaging: 30 months.
Format
10 ml tube.
