Esteem + Uro Accuseal
Description
The bag Esteem+ Uro are made specifically for urostomized. The new design by Esteem+ Uro thanks to the rounded corners and the tile covering, guarantees total comfort throughout the day.
Esteem+ Uro is equipped with self-supporting barrier to total skin protection in Durahesive which ensures maximum seal against any infiltration of urine. The bag is equipped with an anti-reflux valve that prevents the rise of urine towards the stoma and a Accuseal tap, which allows the emptying.
The skin barrier in Durahesive is protected by a shaped blister removable at the time of use. Behind the hydrocolloidal layer in Durahesive there are holes that allow the belt to be attached.
The bag is fitted on the bottom of a faucet with Accuseal closure. This type of faucet guarantees greater safety to the patient, also thanks to the visual indicator (red drop) that is located on the swivel tap: the presence of the red drop means that the tap is in an open position. If necessary it is possible to connect the tap to a bag of wider capacity (by night) by means of the fitting tube present in each package.
The Durahesive on the whole adhesive area of the barrier gently protects the skin from contact with urine. The characteristics of this hydrocolloid make the skin barrier particularly resistant to the corrosive effect of liquid effluents, allowing an effective and long stay in situ. It is waterproof and allows you to safely bath or shower without having to remove the device.
The anti-reflux valve prevents the rise of urine upwards and its stagnation around the stoma, thus avoiding possible urinary tract infections.
Thanks to the fitting tube, the bag can be connected, during the night, to a larger urine collection bag, thus avoiding interrupting the night rest to empty the bag. For further safety in the seal, even if it is not indispensable, you can use a support belt.
