Medical device CE, class I, not sterile. Standard plates and convex. The plaque is equipped with a uniform thickness monolayer hydrocolloid cutaneous protector to ensure an effective seal. The special design of the skin protector prevents any contact of the flange with the peristomal skin. The plaque structure is stretched down to improve skin protection under the stoma. The polyethylene flange has a high flexibility and is equipped, at the bottom, with a safety guide that allows easy positioning of the bag, guaranteeing a correct connection between the bag and the plate. In addition, at the top, there is a pressure hooking device for further guarantees of a secure combination of plaque and bag. The convex plate has a particular convexity conformation that allows a correct externalization of the stoma without exercising an excessive and localized pressure on the peristomali skin planes. The discharge of pressure in fact, is gradually distributed on a wide cutaneous area. Convexity measures 6 mm deep.
The plaque consists of a monolayer of uniform thickness of hydrocolloid cutaneous protector, combined with a joint ring with the low density polyethylene bag (LDPE). It is also equipped with a polyethylene film that allows to space the joint ring with the bag from the base of the plaque. This allows to insert thumbs under the ring to facilitate the union between the bag and plaque avoiding pressure on the abdomen. The flange is equipped with good flexibility and has a safety guide at the bottom that allows a safe and precise positioning of the sack. The skin protector is equipped with a protection card that shows the identification data of the product and the different crop lines of the skin protector according to the diameter of the stoma.
