Description
Decongestant and fluidizing for adults and children aged 2 years. It has a draining effect (osmotic) that facilitates decongestion of nasal mucosa and fluidification of the mucus. It relieves the dryness of nasal mucous membranes thanks to hyaluronic acid that promotes moisture. It is therefore useful to maintain the cleansing of the nasal pits particularly in the acute phases of cooling diseases, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and rhinosinusitis.
The solution contained in the bottles can also be used for aerosol therapy.
It adds and does not replace other treatments prescribed by the doctor.
IALUMAR IPER bottle combines the beneficial and fluidizing action of marine water to the moisturizing effect of hyaluronic acid. The 3% solution contained in IALUMAR IPER flaconcini helps drain excess liquid present in nasal cavities; hyaluronic acid moisturizes the mucosa, thanks to its property to recall water, favoring the healing of any microlesions and attenuating the effects of dryness of the nasal mucosa derived from the hypertonity of the solution.
Mode of use
The bottles are monodose and must be used only once. Your physician or pharmacist will be able to provide additional information on how to use your device.
For distillation
In children the application must be carried out by an adult.
Before use it is recommended to blow the nose, one nostril at a time.
- Stacking a monodose bottle IALUMAR IPER and open it by turning the top cap. Eliminate the cap keeping it away from the reach of children.
- Tilt the head on one side (not backward) and gently introduce the open end of the bottle in the nostril of the opposite side (e.g. tilted head on the right and flacony in the left nostril).
- Gently press the bottle to deliver the solution.
- Turn the head on the other side and repeat the operation for the other nostril.
For nebulization (aerosol therapy)
In children the administration must be carried out by an adult or under the supervision of an adult.
- Stacking a monodose bottle IALUMAR IPER and open it by turning the top cap.
- Follow the instructions provided by the aerosol manufacturer and spray.
- Do not use ultrasound devices.
Frequency of use
By means of distillation: use several times a day according to need or medical advice.
Nebulization media: 1 vial one or more times a day. For children under two years, consult the pediatrician.
Components
Each bottle contains 5 ml of sterile solution ready to use hypertonic sea water (3%), sodium salt hyaluronic acid (0.2%) and sodium hydroxide.
Warnings
In children instill the product by pressing the bottle with minimal pressure to avoid irritations to the mucosa.
For use in asthmatic patients, with a tendency to distress or hypersensitivity, or for children under two years, consult a doctor before use.
The solution is not injectable.
Don't swallow.
Use the product exclusively for the intended use.
In children under 2 years, feel the pediatrician before use in particular by aerosol.
Feel the doctor before use even in case of particular ongoing diseases (e.g. cystic fibrosis) and/or concomitant pharmacological therapies.
Wash your hands before and after the use of the product.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
The bottles are monodose. Do not store or reuse previously open bottles: any unused content should be eliminated because the solution is no longer sterile and reuse could cause infections.
Do not use if the cardboard box or bottle is damaged.
Do not use after the expiry date.
After use to dispose in the separate collection of urban waste; do not disperse in the environment.
Do not mix with medications without medical advice.
Do not use in case of sensitivity known to any of the ingredients.
In some cases temporary irritations may occur, such as cough or reversible contraction of bronchi, especially in case of aerosol use: in such case suspend the use of the product and contact your doctor.
Conservation
Store in a dry place sheltered from sunlight and under 30°C.
