Description
Macrogol 3350, thanks to its affinity with water, helps to absorb the water present in the lumen increasing the fecal volume, making the feces more soft and easier to expel without causing cramps, abdominal pain or emergency conditions. The soluble fiber in water contained in the psyllium creates a gel that hydrates the fecal mass. Thanks to this capacity, the psyllium promotes regularization of the intestinal function, stimulating peristalsis, reducing intestinal transit time by helping evacuation. The presence of symeticons in the formulation, thanks to its anti-foaming action, is effective in the absorption of gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.
Components
Each envelope contains: macrogol 3350, psyllium and symeticons; excipients: citric acid, sucralose, acesulphame K, aromas (orange and paper), silicon dioxide, bicarbonate sodium, sunflower lecithin.
Mode of use
Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 bag per day.
Adults and children >12 years: 2 envelopes a day.
Dissolve every bag well in a glass full of water and drink immediately.
Warnings
Before using the product in children, it is advisable to feel the medical advice.
Since the psyllium has the ability to create a gel, the product must be taken between meals with an adequate amount of water (at least a glass full of water, two glasses, if possible), to avoid swelling in the throat causing stroking. It is suggested to drink at least two liters of water per day for adults, and at least 1-1.5 liters per day for children and adolescents. If conditions persist after taking the product, consult your doctor.
Do not take Stipsigol Plus in case of:
- intestinal obstruction or stenosis;
- intestinal perforation;
- bowel inflammatory disease.
There are no experiences on taking during pregnancy and nursing, so it is recommended to take the product only on medical advice. In patients with renal impairment, it is not necessary to regulate the dosage. Use the product until symptoms are resolved. Repeated use may be necessary in case of refractory or chronic constipation. This type of constipation can be caused by painkillers (opioids) and medicines for treating Parkinson's disease (anti-linergic) or appear in the case of diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson. In such cases, do not take the product for more than thirty consecutive days, if the symptoms persist to consult your doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use the product under six years. Do not hire after the expiry date.
Conservation
Store in a dry place and away from direct sources of heat or light. Open the envelope only when you use it.
Keep the device at a temperature below 25 °C.
