GERDOFF
Description
Gerdoff is a medical device with mechanical action that finds indication:
-in the symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Quickly reduces related symptoms such as: gastric burning (pyrosis), acid regurgitation, epigastric pain, irritative cough, disphony.
-in the symptomatic treatment of hyperacidity (sweet and occasional heartburn).
Gerdoff is an original and innovative association of sulphate chondroitin, hyaluronic acid and hydroxide aluminum. Gerdoff contributes to the protective effect against the irritating action of hydrochloric acid produced by the stomach:
-the presentation in tablets to dissolve initially in the mouth, stimulates salivation, which allows a better contact of the components with the esophageal wall and promotes protection and lubrication.
-the condroitin-solfato, adhering to the gastro-esophageal mucosa, protects it effectively by isolating it from the attack of the succhigastrici.
-hyaluronic acid, in combination with the adhesive properties of sulphate chondroitin, protects the tissue of the damaged esophagus and promotes its reintegration.
-hydride aluminum plays the function of anti-acid, reducing the aggressiveness of gastric juices to the damaged mucosa.
Ingredients
Condroitine sulphate salt sodium, sucrose, aluminum hydroxide, calcium carbonate; antiagglomerants: mono and ditriglycerides of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, high molecular weight hyaluronate sodium; aroma; eulcorant: ammonium glycirizzinate.
Without gluten, lactose and derivatives.
Mode of use
The tablets are initially dissolved in the mouth and then chewed. Their intake may also be followed by ingestion of water or milk.
Adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 tablets after main meals and before bedtime, or in case of appearance of symptoms such as pain and heartburn, according to medical advice.
Children: above 6 years: it is recommended to use the product only after consulting your doctor. 1 tablet, after the main meals and/or before bedtime, or in case of appearance of symptoms such as pain and heartburn. In case of need, the tablet can be divided in half, by means of the prefraction line.
Warnings
The product contains aluminum, which could interfere with the contemporary intake of drugs, citrates can increase aluminum absorption. You should not take medication 1 hour before and 2 hours after using the product and only after consulting your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. The product contains sucrose, which is taken into account in diabetic patients. Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the packaging. Keep out of reach of children. Undesirable effects: prolonged use of the product, for astringent action of aluminum, can cause constipation. Contraindications: kidney failure. Hypophosphateemia. Hypersensitivity known to one of the components. Pregnancy and nursing: use the product after consulting your physician.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact and properly preserved packaging.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
