DEXCOM ONE TRANSMITTER FOR CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF BLOOD SUGAR

Dexcom One is a system that allows continuous monitoring of blood sugar suitable for all patients with type 1 diabetes in insulin therapy starting 2 years up.

It consists of three separate and distinct elements:

1. a small wearable sensor that detects glycemic values
2. a transmitter transmitter that sends the glycemic values detected by the sensor in real time, every 5 minutes, wirelessly
3. a smart receiver via the Dexcom One app or a compatible Android and Apple mobile phone to download the app

The thin sensor is very discreet and not from any type of discomfort, it can be inserted in a very simple way thanks to an automatic applicator on the back of the arm, on the abdomen or on the upper gluteum (up to 17 years).

The transmitter sends the values detected by the sensor to the device display every 5 minutes, using Bluetooth technology; it lasts 90 days, so it can be reused for multiple sessions with different sensors.

When the sensor is inserted, the transmitter must be hooked to the support base.

Thanks to the convenient automatic applicator, the sensor insert is easy and almost painless. And if you're wondering if you can take a shower or swim with Dexcom ONE, the answer is yes. Both sensor and transmitter are water resistant. And the subtle profile of the transmitter makes it almost invisible under the clothes.

Thanks to the transmitter, the data collected by the sensor is automatically sent to the Dexcom ONE App. So you can monitor your glucose directly from your mobile phone - Apple or Android - or via the dedicated Dexcom ONE touch screen receiver. Everything in real time, easy and fast.

Through the receiver or smartphone you can view glycemic readings or the glycemic pattern chart in a single screen.

Dexcom ONE provides you up to 10 days of continuous glucose readings without scans, updated every 5 minutes.

Thanks to its accuracy, Dexcom ONE allows you to make therapeutic decisions, such as insulin dosage, based on the current value of glucose and trend arrow.

MODE OF USE

Apply the Dexcom One transmitter after entering the sensor on the back of the arm, on the abdomen or on the upper gluteum (up to 17 years).
