this glyceric macerate acts on the bone marrow and almost certainly also on the spleen and thus stimulates the formation of red blood cells and platelets. In mononucleosis the macerate of Tamarix gallica in synergism with the Ribes nigrum fight astenia resulting from the disease. The remedy is also useful in blood hypoviscosity thanks to its thrombocytic action.
