SenSura Mio Convex Flip
bag for ileostomy
Single-piece bag indicated in the collection of the deities of the bearers of ileostomy.
The bag is open.
The Hideaway locking system allows you to fold the closure on itself and stop it with the two side wings and on a velcro point placed below the fabric. This guarantees maximum discretion of the bag that sees reduced its size.
The bag in an inspectable version is in innovative Ökotex fabric.
Inspection consists of an opening below which there is a transparent film that allows to view the stoma. The back is in fabric. The color of the bag is innovative and discreet, specially designed not to be visible under garments. Transparent pockets allow full visibility of the contents in the front, while posteriorly they are covered with fabric for greater comfort in contact with the skin.
The adhesive, designed thanks to BodyFit Technology, is elastic, newly designed and formed by two layers; has five-petal star shape and its elastic structure ensures adhesiveness, safety and skin protection:
- in the innermost layer the special structure of small hydrocolloid ingloba lattice: in contact with the deiations is transformed into a thick and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the infiltration of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin moisture, favoring tissue repair;
- in the closest part to the stoma the adhesive is equipped with a ring that gives stability and support to the stoma;
- in the outermost layer the elastic adhesive capacity allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin offering a high instant adhesiveness and consequent safety in use.
The product has a tab for removing the coloured adhesive in turquoise to make it more visible, and with easy thumb-shaped handle.
The bag is equipped with a new circular filtering system. The filter consists of a very wide and circular pre-filter area that allows it to block any type of effluent before it comes into contact with the filter membranes. This prevents obstruction. The filter is in activated carbon placed inside the bag itself in the front under the inspectable pocket and ensures deodoration.
Warnings
Medical treatment under Directive 93/42/EEC -class I- not sterile.
No contraindications.
Valid 3 years from the date of production.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components therefore it does not need special disposal protocols.
Do not disperse in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
Conservation
We recommend the preservation in the original package protected from light and moisture, at a constant temperature between 15° and 30°.
